Our December First Friday features LIVE music by The BorderCollies, performing neo-traditional Irish and Scottish seasonal and holiday music. There is no admission charge and light refreshments will be available. The event will be 6-8PM on Friday, December 3.
The November/December Featured Artist at the gallery is South Carolina artist Jeff Rivers. Jeff’s art explores the inner family life of his subjects, fitting for the holiday season where family dynamics, both comforting and alienating, often intertwine.
The rek Gallery brings contemporary Southern art to east DeKalb. Opened in 2021, the gallery and studio space is located 10 minutes east of Decatur, GA in the city of Tucker. The rek Gallery features works from over 25 artists that lean toward the eclectic, quirky, edgy and unconventional.
