On Sunday, February 20, 2022, at 11AM, the rek Gallery will present “Meditation To Inspire Creativity” a group class and meditation session to discover how developing a regular meditation practice can open creative avenues in your mind and enhance your artistic life.
Join rek Gallery artist and curator, Rick Baldwin, for a discussion on meditation, awareness, imagination and how listening to deep, inner silence can transform your capacity for creativity. One hour discussion will be followed by a 30 minute group meditation. No prior experience required. Suitable for all levels of meditators and artists. Discussion is free, however registration is required due to limited space. Please contact rekgallery@gmail.com for more information or to reserve a space. NOTE: It is suggested attendants wear comfortable clothing and bring a meditation cushion or bench, sturdy pillow, or other portable seat which allows comfortable and relaxed meditation. Additionally, please bring a sketch book/pad or paper and drawing tool (pencil, crayon, charcoal, etc.)
